Our Community Involvement

Sharing our good fortune is something we enjoy and believe very strongly in at Home Care America. Over the years, we have been honored to support many worthy events and organizations focused on helping individuals who are battling medical conditions. We encourage you to take a closer look at these exceptional organizations and join us in lending support so that they can continue their amazing work.

Clays for Kids

Clays for Kids raises funds to help create and further enable non-profit organizations that help meet the needs of children. In 2011, we hosted a Clays for Kids event, raising over $114,000 for the Center for Exceptional Families (CEF), which sponsors 2,500 families with children with special needs.

Red Tie Ball

The Red Tie Ball raises money for Oakwood’s Center for Exceptional Families (CEF) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In 2012, the Red Tie Ball raised over $540,000 and we were honored to play a part in that fantastic accomplishment.

Make-A-Wish Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan

The Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions, enriching their lives with hope and joy.

WAM 300

Wish-A-Mile (WAM) is a 300 mile bike tour put on by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan to further their wish granting program for children battling severe medical conditions. We are proud to be a Gold Sponsor of this amazing event.

Freedom is a SCUBA program for children braving various disabilities. In 2010, we accompanied Kevin and Amanda, two kids in the program, and helped them learn to dive in St. Thomas. It was a truly remarkable experience for everyone involved.
